The Chickadee boasts a loft and bunk room.Enjoy the classic, 660 sq. ft. cottage, with all the comforts of new construction; to include tankless water heater, heat & air conditioning. Plus great proximity to all that Pemaquid Peninsula has to offer. We have 3 cottages all nestled on a wooded knoll, overlooking our pond.
The Chickadee (Cottage #3) differs from the other two, still accommodating 6 guests, butwith a first floor bunk room, and a loft with queen bed. The kitchenette/living space is a bit larger and boasts an open floor plan with soaring ceiling. The bathroom is on-suite with the bunk room and accessible from the living area. The bunks are built in, custom made and the kids will loose their minds!The loft also has a desk for private work space.
All 3 cottages are nestled on a beautiful knoll amongst the trees. You'll enjoy the peaceful porch overlooking the pond and field, where you can enjoy the wildlife that abounds on this property. This private, bucolic place is pure peace and relaxation. We, the owners, live on property and are so excited to share our dream come true. We provide linens to include bedding and 2 sets of towels per person and will be readily available to insure your stay meets all your expectations.

Attn: Please, do not turn into the driveway to our house. The cottage drive is just passed the lawn. We do not allow Pit Bulls or Doberman Pinschers.

Directions – Do not use our residential drive. The cottage drive is just passed our lawn. Cell service is often spotty in Maine. We recommend having the instructions on hand for travel.
From 4-95 - Brunswick take US-1 N, Follow US-1 N to US-1 BUS N in Newcastle, 30 min (25.3 mi), Take the US-1 BUS S exit from US-1 N which becomes Main Street. At The First National Bank and First Baptist Church, turn right on to ME-129/130 S. At the 129/130 split, stay on 130S/Bristol Rd, take ME-130 S To Lower Round Pond Rd (immediately past Bristol Town Hall &Deb's Dinner.) Turn left onto Lower Round Pond. At dead end, turn right on State Route 32. Go about 1/4mile to house number 1144 (photo inculded). Take the dirt drive immediately past our house. You will see a white "Private Road," with our Three Birds Farm & Cottages Logo. (photo included.) The cottage drive is to the right, behind the house. The Heron’s Nest (#1) is the first cottage and has a Yellow Door.
Parking for, up to, 2 cars per cottage. RV and large parking available, as well.
