Located on an 1850s farm property, just 1 mile from Round Pond Village and Harbor. Our cottages were designed with coastal charm and luxury in mind. Enjoy the classic, 640 sq. ft. cottage, with all the comforts of new construction; to include tankless water heater, plus air-conditioning and heat. Plus great proximity to all that Pemaquid Peninsula has to offer. We have 3 cottages all nestled on a wooded knoll, overlooking our pond.
Bright and airy, the Heron's Nest features cathedral ceilings, with 3 skylights, providing beautiful natural light, shiplap walls and ceilings, and, every kids dream, a loft bedroom accessed by a hefty ships ladder. The kitchenette/living space is an open floor plan with soaring ceiling. The kitchenette is equipped with 2 burner, portable, induction cooktop; countertop oven; microwave; and coffee maker. The first floor bedroom, features a king bed with luxury linens and on-suite bathroom, with shower, also accessed from living space. The large loft has 2 full size beds andsitting space, giving the children plenty of room to play and adults space for plus generous size table for games or additional work space. You'll enjoy the peaceful porch overlooking the pond and field, where you can enjoy the wildlife that abounds on this property.
We are so excited to share our dream come true. This private, bucolic place is pure peace and relaxation. We, the owners, live on property and will be readily available to insure your stay meets all your expectations. For short term stays, we provide linens to include bedding and 2 sets of towels per person. Guests are responsible for paper products and trash bags.
Cancellation Policy -Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount paid. Cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, will get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

Attn: Please, do not turn into the driveway to our house. The cottage drive is just passed the lawn. We do not allow Pit Bulls or Doberman Pinschers.

Directions – Do not use our residential drive. The cottage drive is just passed our lawn. Cell service is often spotty in Maine. We recommend having the instructions on hand for travel.
From 4-95 - Brunswick take US-1 N, Follow US-1 N to US-1 BUS N in Newcastle, 30 min (25.3 mi), Take the US-1 BUS S exit from US-1 N which becomes Main Street. At The First National Bank and First Baptist Church, turn right on to ME-129/130 S. At the 129/130 split, stay on 130S/Bristol Rd, take ME-130 S To Lower Round Pond Rd (immediately past Bristol Town Hall &Deb's Dinner.) Turn left onto Lower Round Pond. At dead end, turn right on State Route 32. Go about 1/4mile to house number 1144 (photo inculded). Take the dirt drive immediately past our house. You will see a white "Private Road," with our Three Birds Farm & Cottages Logo. (photo included.) The cottage drive is to the right, behind the house. The Heron’s Nest (#1) is the first cottage and has a Yellow Door.
Parking for, up to, 2 cars per cottage. RV and large parking available, as well.
